Meet Your Operations Manager

Morgan

Operations Manager, Purrdy Paws Pet Grooming Spa (Canines), Purrdy Paws Feline Mobile Spa

Hello, my name is Morgan and I’m the Operations Manager for Purrdy Paws Spa. My role at the spa is to ensure your and your furbaby have a purrrfect experience!

My passion is helping people and their furry friends build healthy relationships with grooming. I understand how important your pets are and can ensure you that their safety and well being are my number one priority.

I love working with animals and I’ve had just about every type of pet you can imagine. Growing up on a farm has allowed me to gain experience working with a variety of animals. I believe any animal big or small is important and should be treated as if they were my own.

When I’m not working I offer my time to local rescues by volunteering and raising funds. I love fostering and most of my own pets are rescues.

I am thrilled to be a part of leading the Purrdy Paws Team and I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Meet Your Professional Groomers

Alberto: Professional Pet Groomer (Canine Mobile)

Alberto grew up in the Dominican Republic. He immigrated to Canada with his sister and mother as a young child. Alberto had limited exposure to pets in his youth.

When he met and married the owner Jayme Montero he quickly adapted to a lifestyle that heavily revolved around companion animals and their care. Turns out he actually had quite a soft spot for them all along! :)

He wanted to do his part to help the family business progress, so he attended Pets Beautiful academy to complete their Pet Stylist Program. He quickly took over the canine mobile operations and has established a large and loyal clientele.

Alberto is fluent in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese.

Alberto's hobbies include Latin music and dancing. He also enjoys woodworking, camping and providing chauffeur services to his daughters.

Tanisha

Hi! My name is Tanisha, and I am living my best life, doing what I love, working with animals! I have always dreamed of working with pets. Grooming gives me the perfect opportunity to not only bond with your furry little friend, but also pamper them, and make them look wonderful for you!

I have a small little family of my own pets, including my cat Kiyarah, my gecko The Doctor, and my Service Dog, and my heart dog, Buhddie.  I have always loved animals, but ever since I got my dog at the age of 16, my life has been eating, sleep, and breathe pets.

I started working in the animal industry at age 17, as a bather,  in my last year of high school. Shortly after graduating, I went through training to learn to groom. I have been grooming since 2012, and I love meeting all of my clients, and forming lasting bonds with both you and your pets! I look forward to meeting you, and taking care of your furry friend as if they were my own!

Alanna:

Ever since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to work with animals forever. I've lived with all different kinds of animals from cats and dogs to extreme exotics. I've always been an extreme advocate for animal rights and welfare my entire life, and will continue to do so.

When I got my very first dog of my own for my birthday when I was 14. She changed my whole world. Everything I did in my life included her. She was my rock when I went through school and during hardships. She was my everything. During the period when she got sick, I decided to switch from my animation career to something/anything that benefitted animal needs and medical care. I looked into applying for the veterinary technician course at Algonquin college. During that time of applying for the course, I got into a dog grooming course.

Since March 2015 I've been a professional Dog Groomer dedicated to making dogs feel more comfortable and stylish. Your family member will always be my number one concern, and I'll do everything I can to make sure your family gets the best grooming experience possible.

Logan:

Hiya! I’m Logan and I am obsessed with corgis. The one in my picture? I met him on the sidewalk outside the salon one day, ran outside & asked to say hi. He’s been coming in for grooming ever since that day. I’m mainly working in the mobile feline van, I’m the one you talk to during your appointment and will always try to send you silly pictures of your pets when their spa day is over (I have tiny props, like mini cat glasses). Feel free to check out my Instagram loganatpurrdypaws if you wanna see the pets we work with! Dogs, cats, bunnies, hedgehogs, sometimes we even get surprised with kittens.

A little bit about me: I went to school to become a veterinary assistant, in the program we had grooming and obedience classes which led to me realizing a vet clinic wasn’t the right place for me, I fell in love with the training and grooming aspects of the animal world. I am also a certified dog trainer through the FernDog Academy and foster when I have the opportunity to. I have two cats named Mac & Cheese...... they’re not orange though. I’m always happy to give advice so feel free to ask anything during your appointment, see you soon!

Kayla:

Hey! I’m Kayla and I’m a bather at Purrdy Paws Spa. Everyday my goal is to make sure the dogs I’m working with are as comfortable and happy as can be. I’ve owned all kinds of animals and I currently have three pets. Two cats, Ella and Koda, and a Staffordshire Terrier named Medusa. They mean the world to me. I strongly believe every animal should be treated with love, compassion, and patience. I truly care for every dog I work with and hope to one day soon see you and your furry friend at the salon for a spa day.

Brianne:

Hello! My name is Brianne, and I've had pets of all shapes and sizes my entire life and have known since I was a young girl that working with animals will always be a love of mine. I began my dog grooming journey right after I graduated from high school. I began as a bather and have been grooming since 2016. I have been working mainly with canines for the last 5 years in grooming salons as well as daycare/rescue facilities. My number one goal when working with pets is to ease stress and anxiety and ensure that they leave feeling comfortable and happy. I love learning about all kinds of breeds and what unique characteristics each one brings to the table and how those traits are going to play into our experience at the salon. I love hearing your pet's stories of how they came to be with your family and what their personality is like, as all pets are different. I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, just my 8-year-old Maine Coon cat, Ollie. I can't wait to meet you and your pet!
